November

We will be continuing our countdown to Christmas in November's class, which will be led by Jackie.

The project will be a festive tissue box cover, and you will be using embossing folders, and making flowers to decorate it.  Other toppers and embellishments will also be available.

You will just need to bring your regular craft kit (glue, double sided tape, scissors, craft mat) as all other materials and equipment will be provided.

October... and countdown to Christmas begins!

Shirley will be leading the class in October, and we will be making two lovely Christmas cards.  You will need to bring your basic craft kit with you - all materials will be provided.

September 2018

We start our run up to Christmas at the September class when we will be making this Christmas box card, which can also be used as a decoration.  

Brenda will be leading the class, and you will just need to bring your normal crafty kit with you.

August off - back in September!

We are taking a break in August - back on 22nd September, when we will be making a box frame card, featuring a winter scene.  Yes.... we will be starting the preparations for  Christmas!

Brenda will be leading the class, so if you haven't put your name down for September, please let me know.

Summer school July

 We had 2 projects at summer school this year - in the morning we decoupaged mugs using napkins and mod podge glue, and in the afternoon we made an ornate gatefold card.

June 2018

"Spotlight" card

 We are stamping and colouring, and paper piecing in June.

Jackie is leading the class and we will be making these two cards. 

You will need to bring your normal kit with you - mat to work on, ds tape/glue, ruler, scissors/knife, and some colouring pens/pencils.  If you have a quickie glue pen you will need that for the second card.

Jackie will bring some extra pens and glue pens so if you don't have them, don't worry!

The session will be led by Shirley in May - and we will be making these 2 cards.

All materials will be provided and you will just need to bring your normal craft kit - glue/ds tape, scissors, foam pads and a cutting mat.

April 2018

In April we will be making this lovely card - the session will be led by Brenda.  Welcome back to her!  

The card comes complete with a box-elope so that it can be posted without any damage.

You will need your basic craft kit for this one, but all materials to make the card will be provided.

March - Easter exploding box

It isn't a card in March - we will be making an exploding box, complete with cute basket in the centre for those mini easter eggs!

Jackie will be leading the class, and all materials will be provided, but you should bring your basic kit - cutting mat, scissors, glue, DS tape, and anything else you like to use.

2017 Charity donation

Following the vote on which charity to use for our refreshment donations in 2017, the winner was the Macmillan cancer charity, and a donation of £80 has now been made.

February class

Jackie is leading the class in February, and we will be making these two cards this month.  As always, all materials will be provided to make the cards, but you will need to bring your basic crafty kit with you to supplement it.

The first card is made using images taken from a Joanna Sheen CD, and for this card you will just need scissors and DS tape/glue.

The second card is a bit more fiddly, but the die cutting will be done for you!  The image on the topper will be stamped ready for you to colour it in.  

You can use pencils or pens or distress ink to watercolour - the choice is yours.  If you don't have any, some inks, pencils and pens will be available on the day.

Happy New Year - January class is Art Deco!

Welcome back for another year with Busy Bees....

We are making two Art Deco cards in January - with the class being led by Shirley.  As always, all materials to make the cards will be provided, but you will need to bring with you a basic craft kit, including scissors, glue and/or double sided tape.

Refreshments will be available for just a donation to our charity box - but you will need to bring a mug or cup!
