Craft class - January 2009

This month we made a "box within a card" with a decoupaged image in the centre.

Advanced beading - 10th January 2009

There was a full house of advanced beaders at the first meeting of the year!  They were all busily making an intricate butterfly necklace, that one of the ladies commented was "a bugger to do".  But the end result would be worth it - very pretty!

The next project for the advanced beaders, in February, is a very nice bracelet, featuring a stunning gold coloured clasp. Of course, before then, we will all be off to the Stitch and Craft Fair at Sandown Park. There will be lots of crafting goodies to buy there and lots of demonstrations to watch.

2008 is now over and 2009 has begun. We are looking forward to a very productive year - classes begin again on 10th January for the Advanced beaders, 17th January for the Beginner beaders, and on 31st January for the paper crafters.

We are also going on a trip to a Craft Fair at Sandown Park on 23rd January - look out for the write up of the trip later.
